EVICTED

Evicted is a project I developed about what happens when a family of four suddenly evicted from their comfortable residence on a windowsill in the city. Now more than ever, they must work together to make their way through the city, to overcome all odds, and to find out that home means a great deal more than a place to lay your head at night.

CONNECtION

An exploration of the idea of connection. This project stemmed from the idea that despite everyone being more “connected” because of today’s technology, it is often overlooked how so many feel so much more alone than ever because of it.

ON THE ROAD REDESIGNED

This is a re-imagining of the 1957 novel On the Road by Jack Kerouac. With this project, I wanted to give new life to the world that Sal Paradise and his friends inhabited as the made his way through the roads of America.

GETTING HOME

With this project, I wanted to explore the question: “If a fly ever got transported to a distant city somehow, a city far away from what he’s used to, could he find his way back?” The narrative dives into the world of a housefly named Z and the struggles he endures in new environments and frightening situations, the colorful characters that he meets along the way, and if he ever manages to make it back home.

JICKO

Jicko tells the story of a young boy whose family immigrated to the United States from the Philippines at an early age. He now has to learn how to fit in and adjust to make the most out of his new life.
